Can you all believe that February is over already.  We are still rocking along and enjoying life.  Hugh is still loving his new job with less stress which is so nice.  The boys and I really like him being home by 4 everyday.  I think all the kids are enjoying getting coffee and green tea.

Tyler has expanded on his chicken house with the help of Hugh and my dad.  We currently have 15 chickens that are laying and one that is sitting on 10 eggs.  Little Mamma hatched out 8 babies a few weeks ago and 5 are still with us.  They are so cute and fuzzy and we are enjoying watching them grow each day and can't wait for the others to hatch.  Tyler is also going to try his hand at hatching out 3 dozen in the incubater  on Monday.  Then in May he should be getting another 50 with the Chick Chain.  Making lots of pictures and documenting everything in hopes of getting a scholarship to college.

Noah started his coaching career with K-6 graders in wrestling for our youth boys.  He is really enjoying this and spending time with all of them.  Rusty says he is really good with the boys.  I know he is ready to get back to wrestling at the end of March.  This ear surgery has really set him back for several months.

Brian and Julie are doing WONDERFUL.  So nice to see young love.  Really nice to know that Brian treats her the way a women should be treated.  Brian is doing really well on his medicine with no signs of any blood clots in site, what a blessing.

We had lunch with Hannah today and she seems to be doing really well.  I hate that she had to move out of her place but I think she is ok with it.  It was really nice to see her since we don't see her much.

This month I have been reading a book, "Waiting on God".  Moments when we think we are alone, God is always with us.  Learning to wait on Him to work in His time and not mine and knowing that God is always in control.  I encourage you all to read it.

Sending you all many blessings for a wonderful March.

February 21013

Well 2013 has started, we have had many celebrations and heartbreaks already.

In January we celebrated Hugh's 51st birthday with all four of our children and a few family members.  In true Hugh fashion we celebrated for a full week of meals, cakes and fun.  He tells us he is now over 50 and can say and do anything he wants and we can't say anything about it.  He brings such laughter to the family and as you all know there is never a dull moment with Hugh in the room.

Brian gave us a little worry back in December when he developed a blood clot in his leg. During the night of his second day the blood clot went to his lungs. The Dr's have his medication on track and he is doing well. Thankful for the wonderful blessings of his girlfriend Julie and the many nights she stayed with him at the hospital. Julie is a wonderful addition to Brian and a blessing to all of us.

Hannah continues to work at the daycare and is living on her own. She is enjoying life and singing in the choir at her church. She doesn't live alone but has a puppy and a cat to keep her company. She is doing really well and having the time of her life being in her 20's.

Tyler is just being Tyler and enjoying is Junior year of high school and hanging out with his friends. I wish that he viewed his school work as important as he does Sunday night Ping Pong Tournaments. So very proud of him for getting so involved in church and his youth group.

Noah had to have ear surgery and will not be able to finish out his freshman year of wrestling. What a heartbreak for him and for my dad. Noah was doing so well this season with a 22-14 record when it was cut short. 31 stitches out of his ear now and recovering but still upset that he will not be able to wrestle at State with Dan. So his eyes are on next season and making it to State next year.

I am still looking for a job but know that God has great plans for me.  I am so thankful that I have the time to spend with my parents to help them around the house.  Enjoying the time that I have with them.
